Q I saw this product on an offshore website and it was cheaper. Why is this?
A Was it? Are you sure about that? Have you added the exchange rate, shipping, duty tax (up to 24% added to the cost of your goods including the shipping), GST (15% of total cost of item, plus shipping, plus duty tax), and the cost of customs clearing this for you (on average around $85 on top)? Is it still cheaper? If so give us a call or email and we will beat that price!
Q Are these costumes for hire?
A No. We only sell costumes.
A No. We under no circumstances are able to have visitors to our site. We share our space with a company dealing with trucks & heavy machinery. OSH rules prevent us from allowing this.
Q Can I come and look at what you have?

Q If I pay extra for shipping will I get my order faster
A No. We do not carry all stock, but have it flown in from our main store www.thecostumeshopusa.com twice a week in our quiet periods, and 3-4 times per week in the busier periods. This way we are able to keep our prices fair. We have been operating this way for two years and have ironed out all creases in this system.
You can go to the “URGENT” section for goods that can be released immediately.
A It depends. To find out how much it is to ship your goods, just add the item in the cart . When you have finished adding what you would like to ship, hit the cart icon on the top left hand side of page and you will be taken to the cart. You will see an “estimate shipping” link. Hit this link and you will be given the cost of shipping
Q Are your costumes good quality?
A Yes, but remember, that they are just that. Costumes. Most, unless they are the supreme or grand heritage, will not be lined or be made to withstand everyday wear and tear. It is not recommended to wash costumes. They are costumes.
If you are wanting better quality, go for the deluxe, and not the cheapest option available.
Q Can I return my goods if they do not fit?
A Costumes, YES! (excluding supreme) . These must be returned within 7 days. If you need to swap, you will need to go into the website and order another, to ensure that you receive your costume and it does not become out of stock.

Q Can I return my goods after I have used them?
A No. Never.
A We can not tell you this. A sizing chart is available. If in doubt, it’s usually best to order the larger size. Please note that bodysuit costumes such as many superhero costumes are meant to be tight fitting.
